How much does a Colombian household spend in clothing every year?

Today, we focus on something interesting (as always). The willingness to spend money in clothing, how much? well.. acording with some Dane data, by 2002 an average household spent 700 thousand COP per year in clothing, by 2019 this amount went up until 3 million COP  showing a little fall due to the actual crisi to spend (as a forecast) of 2 million and 9 hundred thousand COP. Nevertheless this behaviour will be better by 2024 which according with th trend it could be  of 3,8 million COP. This is interesting if you take into account the fact that the minimum wage in Colombia is right now 880 thousand COP or something...this mean that roughly a Colombian household spend 4 minimum wages in clothing every year.

So today we are going to analyze and to make and in-deep research about the bakery sector in the capital city of Colombia, Bogotá. It's clear enough the market is lead by several companies, however: it could be useful if we take a look to the reality and some indexes in order to figure out what's going on with this sector in the city. Ecopetrol S..A is one of the largest companies in Colombia. Actually, if we measure the companies by its operational profits we could say that Ecopetrol is the largest company in the country with a operational revenue of almost 71 billion dollars in 2019. This company works in the oil sector by extracting crude, petroleum, gas and hydrocarbures, Aditionally, it belongs to the set of 35 largest oil companies worldwide.
